REFUND / ESCROW POLICY
Kaampays uses a secure Indian Escrow System to protect both Buyers and Freelancers.
1. Eligibility

Only Aadhaar-verified Indian citizens may bid, hire, work, or receive escrow payments.

All projects must follow Kaampays rules.
2. Escrow Rules
2.1 Buyer Escrow
Buyers deposit funds in escrow before assigning a freelancer.
Funds remain locked until work is reviewed.
2.2 Freelancer Assurance
Freelancers are assured payment once work is approved.
2.3 Platform Commission
Both Buyer and Freelancer must pay Kaampays commission.
Commission is non-refundable once a project is started.
3. Revision Policy

Freelancers must provide up to 2 revisions per project.

Beyond that, additional work is chargeable at the Freelancer’s discretion.
4. Refund Conditions
Refunds are allowed only if:

Buyer has not approved or released escrow, AND
-
Work has not been delivered or started, OR
-
Both parties mutually agree in writing via Kaampays chat.
Refunds are not allowed if:

Buyer releases escrow and later complains
-
Buyer takes work outside the platform
-
Freelancer completes the agreed work
Kaampays is not responsible once funds are released.
5. Dispute Handling
Kaampays provides:

Mediation assistance
-
Review of chat logs
-
Review of submitted work
Kaampays may decide:

Release funds to freelancer
-
Refund to buyer
-
Split escrow
Decision will be final.
6. No External Communication
Any communication outside Kaampays is strictly prohibited:

No WhatsApp
-
No Email
-
No Phone numbers
-
No external payments
Violation results in cancellation of refund rights + account ban.
7. Illegal or Prohibited Work
No refunds are given for projects violating:

Indian cyber laws
-
Morality or decency rules
-
Fraud or deceptive activities
8. Refund Processing Time
Refunds (if applicable) will be processed within 7–14 business days through Indian payment gateways.
